The Missiles Threatening Taiwan
The New York Times
Taiwan Defense Studies Initiative (TDSI) seeks to strengthen the research capacity and strategic literacy of Taiwan’s research communities and civil society regarding defense issues. We are dedicated to studying defense and security issues relevant to Taiwan from a local perspective and based on evidence.
This initiative is led by a group of nonpartisan individuals committed to fostering a community that engages in evidence-based, objective dialogue on issues critical to Taiwan’s defense and security.
The five co-founders (listed in order of surname in Mandarin stroke count) are: H. Rion Wu, A. Eric Fung, K. Tristan Tang, Y. Joseph Wen, and H. Robertson Tsai.
At the heart of our work is a shared commitment to evidence-based analysis, open dialogue, and mutual respect for differing perspectives.
